Individual Member Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions form the basis of the contract through which Self Employed Network (SEN) Responsibility and Sustainability. SEN will deliver membership services (the "Services") to you as an individual member of SEN.
SEN is an organisation providing a better deal for the self-employed worker. To gain individual membership to SEN you’re need to be a self-employed worker, proprietor, partner, sole trader, company director. .
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, SEN accept your application to become an individual member on the basis that you’re a self-employed worker, allowing you to access the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should also note that these terms and conditions set out obligations to other individual members, and those SEN individual members Your attention is particularly drawn to the limitations and exclusions of liability set out in these terms and conditions.
Membership of SEN will provide you with two levels of individual membership: Level one provides you access to all off our open offers/deals/promotions. Level two provides you access to your respective professions platform here where applicable you will be able to take advantage of bespoke offers/deals/promotions that are applicable to your profession.
As an SEN member you will receive a wide range of benefits such as:
- Full access to the members’ area of the SEN website (the "Site");
- Full access to your professions platform.
- A variety of resources to add your Continuing Professional Development.
- Membership packages may vary from time to time.
We reserve the right to change the benefits that apply to SEN membership at any time without prior notice, however wherever possible we will provide notice where possible.
Any external providers of a benefit included within your membership package will have absolute discretion in relation to the provision of services, and membership of the SEN does not guarantee that the external provider will accept an application from an SEN member for the provision of services.
supplied by an external provider will be subject to the provider’s own terms and conditions, and we do not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered as a result of a fault, error or omission in the provision of these services.
We reserve the right to change our external providers without prior notice and our decision on services provided is final.
Members will be asked to complete a direct debit from to automatically renew their membership, each member will be notified at least fourteen days via email that their membership subscription will be debited from their account.
If your individual membership has not been renewed by your renewal date you will automatically be deemed as a lapsed member. It is very much in the members interest to ensure that there is continuity with your membership subscriptions. If you fail to renew your membership, privileges of membership will be withdrawn immediately without exception for example fuel card, any discount card you utilise and so on. You will be required to complete a new membership application form (ensuring you quote your lapsed membership number in the form to ensure a duplicate member record is not created). When re-joining SEN you will be required to pay one year’s subscriptions in full, you will also be subject to £50 administration charge and any charged to reactivate any third party discount cards, offers/deals and promotions.
Right to refuse applications or cancel membership
We reserve the right not to fulfil, or to cancel, your application if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your credit/debit card or payment by other means.
We will cancel your membership without prior notice without refund if you’re found not to be self-employed or qualifying as a company director, your membership benefits or any other aspect of your individual membership is not transferable if it is found to have third party activity you will become disqualified as a member of Sen without prior notice or refund. In certain situations third party usage can be used, this will require the individual member requesting from SEN permission to do so and only when agreed by SEN in writing via an email, we reserve the right to refuse third party activity without reason, our decision is final.
